DYP in conjunction with Deloitte are pleased to invite you to join us for our first Biz Caravan, where we will visit some of Dunedin’s businesses doing exciting things. Starting at Nectar for drinks and nibbles we will hear from Tony Allison (Night ’n Day CEO) about his plans for Nectar which has recently been purchased by Night n’ Day. We will then visit two of our cities emerging tech companies MixBit and Firebrand.

MixBit is a startup brought to us by Chad Hurley (co-founder of YouTube). With a focus on video innovation MixBit will talk to us about their latest creation Zeen (launched only weeks ago). Zeen is a video conferencing solution made for everyone with an emphasis on ease for their users across multiple devices. Learn more about MixBit: www.mixbit.com

Firebrand is one of Dunedin’s top creative agencies. Immersed in all things digital, Firebrand produce solutions from web and app development through to branding and marketing strategies. DYP AGM

We would like to invite you to the Dunedin Young Professionals Incorporated 2017 Annual General Meeting. We haven’t found a way to make those words more exciting, but we hope that if you come along you’ll find it a bit less regimented than your average AGM.

Kim Dodds (Business Development Manager for Dunedin Venues) will be joining us to share her experiences in trying to lure big names to Dunedin.

We are currently seeking nominations for the following positions on the 2017-2018 DYP Executive Committee: President, Secretary, Treasurer, Events Team, Marketing Lead, Designer & Social Media Officer.

If you are interested in one of the above positions, here are the job guidelines. If once reading those, you think you’ve got what it takes, please fill out the nomination form, and send it to info@dyp.co.nz by the 5th July 2017. Elections will take place at our AGM on Thursday 13th July.
